Winner of The Charity & Community Award last year, The ICE Centre is the Oxfordshire Business Awards chosen charity for 2024.

The ICE Centre is an independent provider of social care for people with learning disabilities, including day services, evening & weekend social activities & supported living.

Opening their day service in 2010, The ICE Centre has expanded services year on year to keep up with growing demand for all types of care. Monthly disco’s for all, Saturday activities and four supported living homes providing lifetime care for 16 housemates. In the Summer of 2024, The ICE Centre will open their fifth supported living home which will provide 24 hr lifetime support for a further four people enabling them to live fulfilling lives.

A family run organisation, The ICE Centre is a social enterprise where care and support are the main focus but allowing it to run as a truly sustainable business model.

At The ICE Centre, they employ 58 staff (both full and part time) and currently provide over 3000 hours of service per week. Its day service has 30+ users per day and is also now able to offer drop-in sessions for those who want it. Covering the whole of Oxfordshire, they also have some service users from Gloucestershire.
